Top Team

Hello welcome back to my blog. Today I am going to share with you my Top team experience. What is Top Team? Top Team is a series of team building activities and challenges designed to promote problem-solving, communication and team work while being active and having fun. My school organized top team to come to my school and do all there activities with us. They split Kaupeka into 12 groups and Tumu (The year 5-6) joined us as well and there were 12 activities that we all had to do and each group got a piece of paper that they took around to each of the activities and each one you can earn points and the group with the most points wins. As I said there was 12 different activities and my 3 favorite activities were. Something called a beanbag slingshot where you had to catch the beanbags and each time you caught the beanbag it was 10 point and 3 people work on the slingshot. Next activity is a water one. In this activity we all had to sit in a line and had to pour water over each of our heads and the team with the most water in the bucket wins the points. The 3rd activity I like was there was a big pole with holes in it and 3 people have to run and grab water and the rest of the group has to cover the holes with there finger and the team that has the most water wins. Tough Kids Reflection

Hello welcome back to my blog today I will be sharing with you my tough kids experience. If you don't know what tough kids is it is a event that schools can sign up for and you have this big race where you can and do challenges along the way it was so much fun. There were over 20 schools lining up to run in this event It was not a race so you didn't need to come first or second but it was fun overall. They set us off in waves of groups we were group 4 and within 10 minutes we were out at the start line ad we started the race. On the first challenge we jumped over big bags of foam witch was fun and a mountain of tires. But there is still more to come. We had to crawl under a big rope net and jump over rope and jumped over fences I waited for My friends. I had a lot of fun. One of my favorite event was when we were at the beach and went through the water and we could run across this small bridge. I had a lot of fun running and dressing up with my friends and having a good time in general. I had a lot of fun at this event and I hope to do this again. Hope you enjoyed this blog. Bye!!!

My Sports Rotation.

Welcome back to my blog. Today I will be sharing with you today my 4 rotations in sports they are called.
Lawn Bowls
Soft Ball
Korfball
Cricket
I really enjoyed Lawn Bowls. In Lawn Bowls we had to roll a ball and had to try and hit the target that the lady set up for us and we had to gather points and the group with the most points wins. I had a lot of fun in that and it is probably my favorite out of the 4.

Next is Soft Ball this was fun as well. We were split into 2 teams one team is the batting team and the other team was the fielders. This Was a really fun sport to play and differently one of my favorites.

The next one we did was Korfball. Korfball is a really fun sport as some people say it is a sport combine ding netball and basketball but when we first played he added rules as we went along. We learnt a lot of new skills and I saw some people wanting to take it on as a sport to play for a club. Unfortunate I did not take much interest in it but it was a nice thing to try something new and different.

The last one as we should all know was Cricket. We played a simply game of cricket I was really bad at it but I still enjoyed trying a lot of new skills and new sports to play. Hope you enjoyed this blog. Bye!!!

Create Task

Today I am going to be sharing with you my reading task that I did this week. We had to read the title of the book we were given then write about what we thought it was gonna be about. Then we had to read the book and write down 6 points of new learning. Then we had to write 2 points of new learning and understandings. Here it is.
