My Reading Task

Today I will be sharing with you my reading task I did this week. I went to a workshop with a goal on it and it was "Look for clues to confirm predictions." We had to create diagram to see if my predictions for my story were true or false. Here it is.

I had to read a story and predict what would happen next one of them did happen but the other I wasn't to sure about. I hope you enjoy reading this.

My Tech Group

Hi welcome back today I will be talking about my technology group. Every Monday at lunch time the year 7/8 go to technology and I use to be in wood works and in there we made a box that we made ourselves for term 1 and for this term I am in cooking with my friends and today I made creamy pasta
here is what I made from the beginning to now
Week 1: Wraps
Week 2: Pizza Tower
Week 3: Hot Chicken salad roll
Week 4: Creamy pasta
It is so much fun we have to do jobs but you take turns we use the oven and stove and learn how to take care of food and stay safe and healthy with it and to stay hygienic with it every time we are there the first thing we have to do is wash our hands then once that is done we gather around the table and she tells us what we are making and and what to get to make it. The best thing is about it is we get to eat it after but we have to pay close attention otherwise it won't go as planned. Tech as we call it is so much fun I learn so much from it and I can take what I learn from there to my own home and it helps me to get into the kitchen and make my own food and I sometimes use the recipes from my class. Over all tech is fun to me and It has taught me a lot see you next time.

My speech intro

Hi welcome back to my blog today I will be talking about my speech. So with a speech you need a topic and my topic is Gender Stereotype/ Sexism. Now you might be thinking what is Gender Stereotype well Gender Stereotype can be known as many things something but I am not here to share with you what it means I will be sharing with you my intro for my speech here it is.   "Girls can be athletic, Guys can have feelings, Girls can be smart, and Guys can be creative. and vice versa. Gender is specific to your reproductive organs not your interest, likes, dislikes, goals or ambitions" This is my intro for my speech I hope you enjoyed it and I cant wait to share it. Goals for Term 2

Hi guys welcome back to my blog today I will be talking about my goal for this term so lets get into it.
I was thinking what I needed to work on for this term do I need to work hard? do I need to not talk in class? Or maybe I should sit with the right people because I tend to talk and get detracted by my friends witch is normal because who doesn't but I think I can make an effort to maybe ignore my friends when I am working and if they are to distracting then I should move somewhere where all I will do is work. I think that might be my goal for this term. It will be " Sit with the right people and work hard to finish on time" I am really looking forward to this term new students new learning new fun things. I can't wait for what this term has in store for us.

Cross Country 2019

Hello welcome back to my blog today in this post I will be talking about Cross Country. As you may know Cross country is where you have to run a certain amount and race against people in your year and gender. I was versing the year 7 girls. My race was one of the first races I was happy to get it over and done with. We had to run around Walter park 3 times witch mean't we were running 3 k witch is a long way. The first race was the year 8 boys there race started and when they were on there last lap the year 8 girls started to race. When the Girls were near the middle of there race the year 7 boys started the year 7 girls and I were warming up we all wanted to get through to zones but they only took the top 6. When we were waiting we all started watching the boys race as they run by cheering them on wishing them good luck. When there was no one there the year 7 Girls lined up and then we heard 3 2 1 GO!
and we were off. It was a long way I was in the top 5 when we were let off and by my second lap I was with another girl right next to me. But in the end I came 2nd I sprinted in the last few hundred meters and raced to the finish line. After my race we had to wait a while witch mean't we could just sit down eat lunch talk with friends till our teachers gave a any notices. When it was almost time for the last few races the teachers took us around the park and placing us as like cones to lead the way for the last races. I was placed next to my friends. As I cheered people on there were some that I could see were struggling but I keep telling them "You can do it half way there". Because I was at the half way point for one lap. Once all the races were done we headed back to school and continued the day.
It was the end to a nice cross country.

Hi and welcome back to my blog. Today we will be talking about discrimination. Now what is discrimination? Well discrimination is when someone is treating someone for something that they might not control. So it is like they are punishing them for no reason what so ever. They can show this in many ways such as being sexiest, raciest, and ablest. We had to show in a why how bad discrimination is so we decided to show it in a piece of art we had to take a photo and write about what is discrimination or have to ever been discriminated against. We were not able to smile in the photo to show that we cared about the people that have been suffering from the way people treat them for no reason at all because they may have a different eye color or skin color treating them different for something that they can't change hope our posters will change people's point in view and maybe even yours. Here is my poster.

Hi welcome back to my blog. Today we are going back to school and talking about what I am doing in my first week back to school for term 2. So one of the things we will be doing this term is PBL again as you may know last term we did our PBL as a Digi awards and with our driving question

 "What is Greatness". This terms Driving question is "How can we speak up against discrimination".

This was our driving question for this term and we need to find a way to showcase our learning and we thought "Going live for a day". First we needed to find out what discrimination is we found that it came in many ways such as being sexes, raises, and Ableisn so on. We have the options of many things to show it buy. But we need to remember it is live for a day so if whatever we choose is what we have to show in person not behind a screen. There are many things we can choose from such as one example Drama or a play you can do a play but you have to do it in person not record then show it you have to perform live to people.
