My Experience In Hospital.

Today I am going to be sharing with you my 7 days in hospital. Let's start at the beginning.
On the first night I felt my stomach was quite sore and thought the days it kept getting worse. My mum took me to my doctor, but he didn't know what was wrong. That night I went in the 24 hours health clinic and from there sent to the hospital. I was put in the children's assignment rooms, where you can stay for the night. I had nurses and doctors in and out, but we couldn't do anything until the morning. So my mum and I went to sleep. The next day my stomach hurt a lot so when the doctors came in the wanted to do some tests, so that mean't I couldn't eat all day. I wasn't happy but i drank a lot of water. That day and i went in for a X-ray and a ultra sound and a C-T scan. They said it was hard to see because of all the gas in my stomach. That very day I might have drank 4 bottles of water but yet I was still dehydrated. The doctors were so confused, but at mid-day we got moved to the children ward, Ward 21. When we got there we were put into our room. I didn't want to move because i was in pain. The doctors could see that. That is why they were talking about putting a camera in me. I was scared at first but things slowly got worst. My nurse told me to go for a walk and see if that would make me feel better. In the middle of our walk my doctor came and stopped us with our nurse saying "Children of the Pacific have been presenting with diagnosed stomach pain and testing positive for Covid-19 with no other symptoms" and of course that's what I had. My doctor said this in front of the whole staff it wasn't a private thing. So the whole ward panicked. I was then tested and moved in the other ward next door Ward 22, where all the people getting tested stay for 24 hours until the test results come back. We stayed the night and the next day it came back negative. They redid my bloods and the X-ray. They could only find small things but were hard to see. We were moved back into Ward 21 in our room and went to sleep. On Wednesday in the morning the doctors said they wanted to have a look inside which mean't I was gonna have a operation. I was so scared, who wouldn't my your stomach was getting cut open. At 3:30pm I was taken into the room and was put to sleep. When I woke up I felt sick but I hadn't eaten for the last 4 days all I had was clear liquid. I refused to look at the cut until I woke up in pain and i finally looked and it. I was still quite high on my pain medication so according to my mum I was acting a bit weird. The next few days i was getting better and on Saturday I was finally aloud to go home. I am still recovering but I am thankful to all the nurses who kept me company and the doctors for helping me through this journey. That's all for now.
