My Amazing Summery.

Hi welcome back to my blog. Today I will be sharing with you my Summery all about S.V.A known as Student Volunteer Army. Hope you enjoy.

Intro: Be a volunteer and stand up in the world that is the SVA( Student volunteer army) motto. What SVA is about there are a team of volunteered students that go around the country cleaning up for example when Christchurch had the big earthquake in September 2010 a boy called Sam Johnson created a Facebook group and cleaning up the liquefaction around Christchurch.
After the S.O.S went out on Facebook there were about 2500 students volunteered to go and clean up and it was a big success. After the big earthquake Christchurch was struck again and the S.U.V came and cleaned up around our city.
They made a big commitment that they held something called “The Concert” were it required 4 hour of volunteering to get a ticket. Over 8000 tickets were given out. The visit from his Royal Highness Prince Harry was a amazing experience. Some even got to talk with his Royal Highness about there organisation.
They were awarded “Best Community Contribution” 4 years running at the University of Canterbury Students Association Supreme Club Awards from 2013-16.  They believe that people can anyone can join and help people that need it.
There story is great and they helped so much and I think they enjoyed it and I surely enjoyed there story. Over 10 projects and multiple  schools around the country pledge their time and volunteered within there community.
Hope you enjoyed my Summery.
