Writing

Hi, today I'm going to be sharing with you parts of my speech. Here are some of the main parts of my speech.

Did you know that everyday 17,000 fewer children die each day than in 1990, but more than six million children are still suffering and then later die only just before there fifth birthday. If we don’t do anything, the numbers of death will increase and there birthdays will lower. Children born into poverty are almost twice as likely to die before the age of five as those from wealthier families, But commanders that live off of minimum wage are struggling to give enough support they need for not only themselves but for their families.

This is causing children under 5 years becoming more vulnerable which leads most kids unfortunately losing there lives because of not receiving enough medical care to support them.  Overall 3.8% Globally all children die before reaching the age of five, which means that on average 15,000 children die every day. With countries still seeking medical support they are not always receiving it.

The challenge that we are facing today is Slowing down and hopefully stopping the high risks of children dying before they reach a certain age due to the cause of not receiving enough medical care. We are trying to prevent the deaths of newborns and children under five years old. By giving out vaccinations, making sure they are receiving good care from doctors and medicine.

Hope you enjoyed today blog. That's all for today. Bye.

Maths Week 4

Hi welcome to my blog, today I am going to be sharing with you my Math's task for this week.

I am going to b sharing with you my working now. Here it is.

Question 1:

Sally buys in custom design face masks for $30.00. She intends to sell them with a 45% mark-up ( an increase on the price she brought them for).

Work on the below equations to see how much Sally will sell her face masks for:

100% +45%  =  145%

145% as a decimal is: 1.45

1.45 x $30  =  43.5

Question 2:

Sam has 224 sheep at the start of 2020. Some of them have lambs, and at the start of 2021 Sam has 25% more sheep than at the start of 2020.

How many sheep does Sam have at the start of 2021?

Answer: 112

Question 3:

Julie has 148 marbles. She accidentally loses 75% of them down a drain outside.

How many marbles does Julie have left?

Julie's Dad said he was sick of having to buy new marbles all the time! He said the next time she lost any, he would only replace 50% of the number she lost.

How many new marbles will Julie's Dad buy for her this time?

How many marbles will she have then?

This is what we got. Hope you enjoyed. Bye

Writing Week 4

Today I am going to be sharing with you my writing task for this week. We continued to write about our speeches about our topic. Mine is about Health care and Well-Being. Here is some of my paragraphs from my speech.

Writing Week 3

Hi, Today I am going to be sharing with you my Writing Task for this week. Here it is.

Good Health and Well-being

Hard Hitting Information:

Everyday 17,000 fewer children die each day than in 1990, but more than six million children still die before their fifth birthday each year

Since the year 2000s, measle vaccines have stopped nearly 15.6 million deaths

Children born into poverty are almost twice as likely to die before the age of five as those from wealthier families

A safe and health birth for mothers and in a safe and health environment and they get treated nicely

Making sure children are open to getting vaccinations, children before the age of 5 they are more vulnerable to getting sick

Making sure everyone is open to medical care

Would you want a healthy life for your kids?

Would you want your child dying from not enough medical care?

How would you like to be struggling for medical care when others have more than enough?

If you were to wait in line for more people in need, would you?

How would you like it if you were treated differently because of the cost?

How would you like if you ended up homeless and no one cared for you?

That's all. Bye

Writing - Week 2

Hi welcome to my blog today I am going to be sharing with you my writing task for this week in school. I had to do some working out this one but here is what I did.

This was only part of what I wrote and here is the part where I wrote about Hansel and Gretel.
Every second-every minute-every hour she would feed him: Melting marshmallow, grumble gingerbread from sweets to savories.

Hansel became bulky to bulkier, heavy to heaviest, larger to largest. He became chubby like a chipmunk. He was the largest prey she had ever caught… but she didn’t know it Hansel and Gretel were tricking the witch.

When the witch would leave the room Gretel would talk to Hansel and talk about setting him free. From devising the plan Gretel was gonna put her plan to action.
 Hope you enjoyed. Bye.
